Subject: Call to ACACSO Fall Meeting; November 12, 13 and 14, 2003 - Tucson,                 Arizona Web Version

Dear Member or Industry Contact:

ACACSO's Annual Fall Meeting will be held November 12th, 13th and 14th at the Hilton El Conquistador in Tucson, Arizona (http://www.hiltonelconquistador.com/). As usual, this meeting will be packed with informative presentations. However, one of the best reasons for attending these meetings is to meet and have informal discussions with your peers from the industry. Problems are many times easier to solve when you know the right person to call. To foster the building of professional relationships and a sense of common cause, the customary Wednesday evening reception will be held. In addition, we encourage everyone to participate in Tuesday's golf tournament, regardless of your golfing ability, good, bad, new golfer, or never tried. The format is "best ball"; it will encourage teamwork and will be great fun no matter what your level of play.

From the enclosed preliminary agenda, you can see the meeting will cover many important and timely topics. Wednesday morning will start with a training workshop on the soon to be implemented RAMP ED (Railcar Asset Management Process - Exception Disposition) application. This will be a valuable hands-on training session for anyone having responsibilities for the movement of empty cars not covered by the normal car-service rules. Learn how to get your empty cars from point A to point B, quickly on the first try, by using this new industry-wide web-based tool.

If your responsibilities include areas of car hire or car service, you need to be at this meeting. See the whole picture when we take a multi-disciplinary view of cars moving for repairs - mechanical groups, car distributors, and car accountants are all involved. Learn more about haulage, the capabilities of Steelroads, Industry Reference Files that affect your road, and how the arbitration process works concerning car-hire and car-service rules. You will even be able to go back to your corporate tax accountant and provide useable information on the car-hire effects of the Mexican withholding tax.

Meeting registration fees are only $60 for pre-registered members (more for non-members and late registration) - this may be the best value for any rail industry event.

The entire ACACSO Executive Committee is excited about this meeting and we look forward to seeing you at the El Conquistador. Please do not delay, make your hotel reservations today - our block of rooms will only be held through October 21st. As an incentive for pre-registration, on October 22nd names will be drawn to award three upgrades to Casita Suites and a choice of golf for four or a spa treatment for one.

Sincerely,

JD Pavek
President
